It is with great pleasure that AFROSAI-E invite you to attend their first ever virtual annual extractive industries workshop.

The growth of the extractive industries sector in Africa is escalating and continues to present challenges for the public sector. The regulatory framework that is needed to ensure a sustainable development of the sector, a fair share of income and an equitable distribution of that income, is complex and challenging.

AFROSAI-E has invested a lot in online learning as a way of responding to the changes that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought about in the way that we as an institution work. This year’s Annual Extractive Industries workshop will be held over 3 days under the theme

“Transparency data working for communities”.
